For the design of the RocknHair Salon, AlphaStudio Design Group looked to give life to a plain unoccupied storefront. Taking cues from a talented owner, the concept centered around a boutique hair salon, one part shop, one part salon, all social interaction. By creating three separate, flowing spaces AlphaStudio Design Group was able to accomplish this goal. The front of the suite is designed to be a rotating boutique, often displaying local and unique items. The middle portion is dedicated to the salon and features seven stations, allowing all of the stylists plenty of room to work with their clients. The final third section is devoted to the color bar, an area where color work can be done as well as bar area where the clients can wait while their color sets. The design of the salon infuses natural colors and utilizes the owner’s black salon furnishings as an accent thus giving the color palette a soothing and sophisticated vibe.
